We are proud to have been one of the founding congregations of UKirk Birmingham, a college campus ministry through the Presbyterian Church (USA).
UKirk Birmingham seeks to be a “theologically reformed and socially progressive” community of faith, rooted in weekly worship where college students celebrate the gifts and mystery of God’s love and grace. Like Edgewood Presbyterian Church, UKirk Birmingham is proud to be a member of More Light Presbyterians, and through this affiliation we seek to live as people of faith who are called to celebrate God’s gift of diversity and the belief that we all are created in the image of God. EPC is a supporter of UKirk Birmingham in several ways, including financial support. Pastor Joe Genau serves on the UKirk Birmingham Steering Team, our congregation provides meals for their gatherings, and we show up for UKirk events whenever invited. |
